The 1st 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-RAY 3LZ Hybrid just sold for $1.1 MILLION at Barrett-Jackson Auction on April 15, 2023.

The new owner receives the first production of this Killer Hybrid, VIN 001

(The new E-Ray owner can choose between 14 colors)

DonorsChoose receives 100% of that hammer price.

*DonorsChoose Mission: We make it easy for anyone to help a teacher in need, moving us closer to a nation where students in every community have the tools and experiences they need for a great education.

Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, said that “Over the years, the collector car family at Barrett-Jackson has supported more than 200 charities. Some of our most memorable auction moments have been the sale of charity vehicles, with the excitement that builds as the bids pour in. I want to thank our generous bidders and consignors for helping change countless lives over the years from the Barrett-Jackson auction block.”

This reminds me of the Barrett-Jackson auction in March 2021 when the 1st GMC HUMMER EV’s hammer dropped on VIN 001 at $2.5 Million. 100% of the proceeds went directly to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

*Tunnel to Towers Foundation Mission:

Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
