The EV world has some cool updates. Most times I try to talk about one thing- but here’s a few to enjoy!

First off, Stellantis has announced a new EV platform that could give future EVs a whopping 500-mile range and 0-62mph acceleration in just two seconds. According to Stellantis Press Release, the platform enables several leading capabilities including embedded energy, charging efficiency, high-performance vehicle dynamics and Trail Rated off-road driving. It will first be used in the North American market on Dodge and Jeep® brands,Alfa Romeo, Chrysler and Maserati. There are 8 vehicles set to launch 2024-2026.Talk about a need for speed!

Also, Hyundai just unveiled their new active air skirt technology, which can improve EV range and high-speed handling. There are flaps located under the nose, in front of the front tires to direct airflow.  They deploy and retract automatically during certain speeds.

Check this out- The USPS is rolling out its first charging stations for its fleet of electric vehicles, including the Ford E-Transits. The postal service also plans to acquire around 9,250 E-Transits through 2024. They’re also set to buy Canoo electric vans, which is great news for the EV market.

In other news, GM Energy is now offering FreeWire’s unique ultra-fast EV charging solutions to commercial and fleet customers through a new partnership. This means more efficient charging for electric fleets.

The EV world is charging ahead with some seriously sweet news for EV owners and fleets. Just thought you’d like to know!
