Ford’s CEO, Jim Farley, spoke at CERAWeek Energy Conference on March 10, and admitted that Ford is completely oversubscribed with EV orders.

That semi-conductor chip shortage has affected production of both EVs and ICEs.

All forward-thinking plans aren’t set in stone. There are a lot of factors at play for an accurate forecast.

They definitely picked the most iconic vehicles in Ford’s lineup. The Mustang (Mach-e) and the F150 (Lightning). No wonder they sold out.
