VW took the T1 and refreshed it with the ID.Buzz

50 years after VW showed an electric version, T2, at the Hannover Trade Fair, they’ve come full circle.  That bus clicked about 52 miles of range.

Details of the VW ID.Buzz are still expected.  Unsure of range or price yet, but the electronically limited speed is set at 90mph (145 km/h).

The European version of this future forward bus will have bi-directional charging.  It is set to launch first with advanced sales starting in 2022, while the US is looking at a couple of years after that. 

The ID.Buzz makes the best use of space due to the battery being low.  There will be different color variations and lengths of the Micro-bus, along with several seating configurations.

There are also customizable lighting options.
