Not only are there strict lease return limitations, there are so many other things to know about the lease program:

❎ All Tesla vehicles delivered on or after April 15, 2022 are not eligible for purchase at the end of the lease.

✅ If you leased a Model S or Model X before April 15, 2022, you may be eligible to purchase your leased vehicle. 

⬆️ At the end of your lease, you can also upgrade to a new Tesla or apply for an extension of your lease. (Conditions apply).

👎 Third-party dealerships and third-party individuals are not eligible to purchase leased vehicles.

😯 Model 3 and Model Y leases are not eligible for purchase regardless of delivery date.

👎 Tesla leasing isn’t available for applicants in all states states

👎 Leasing is not available for used vehicles

❎ Business-only, trust and commercial finance applications are not accepted at this time.

⚠️ Leased Tesla vehicles are solely for personal use and cannot be used for transport or rental purposes. (😯TURO) 

✅ Must meet insurance requirements

✅ You must list Tesla Lease Trust as the lienholder and an additional insured party on the policy. Note: Your lease comes with gap insurance.

❎ Depending on how long left on your lease, your payment status and other factors, you may be eligible for an early lease termination or a lease transfer.

🤝 If you have more than 13 payments left on your lease, you may be eligible to transfer your lease to a credit-approved assignee. Transfer fees and applicable state taxes will apply.
