An EV with fan-assisted downforce technology, the McMurtry Spéirling blew away the competition at Goodwood Festival Of Speed’s Hillclimb- on their competition debut!
In fact- it had just been unveiled as a demonstrator at last year’s event.

British EV manufacturer, McMurtry Automotive set the new record at 39.08sec in a McMurtry Spéirling with former F1 Driver Max Chilton at the wheel.

This fan-assisted engineering marvel contains two 80hp fans in the rear that creates incredible downforce- utilizing the power of low pressure. Without relying on airflow over the car- the Downforce-On-Demand system provides tons from a standing start and is available at all speeds. This keeps the vehicle glued to the road, provides instant torque and allows for agile cornering.
