Sparkz is an American energy start-up commercializing the only high energy-density cobalt-free, lithium-ion battery. Sustainability and localized components – along with performance, charge rate, supply chain and cost factors are the driving forces that will ensure these next-Gen batteries will disrupt e-mobility energy storage.

In late 2019, the spark for Sparkz began. Their research & development has since produced 6 patents. Sparkz targets several industries including light duty vehicles, farm equipment, med/heavy duty public mobility, commercial vehicles, and personal /recreational vehicles.
It also encompasses material handling & grid storage.

Sparkz corporate office is in California, but they are planning to open a Research & Development facility in West Virginia and partner with the United Mine Workers of America. Recruiting and training former coal miners will provide much needed jobs for the United State’s 2nd poorest state.
