Under the Ford umbrella, Ford created Ford Blue for ICE vehicles & Ford Model e for EVs.  Ford is anticipating outperforming competitors due to their history of industrial know-how and volume, along with Ford Model e’s scalability, software development and “unbridled” innovation.  Complementing these 2 distinct entities is Ford Pro (fleet). All 3 will share tech and will have individual financials by 2023. 

On Dealerships:

On Twitter this morning, I asked Mike Levine how they anticipate it will affect the dealerships.

He replied, “They are a key part of this. More details to come on new consumer experiences.”

*Currently, Ford’s website allows you to submit vehicle preferences to a local dealer who will help you by discussing incoming inventory, verifying preferences and submitting to Ford.  

I look forward to seeing how they restructure dealer relations.
